In Aurora Intelligent Nutrition we do not conceive innovation without improvements in environment protection.
For this reason, we currently have photovoltaic plants on our three factories that allow us to achieve energy savings in terms of consumption of more than 50%. This contributes to greater sustainability in terms of the energy and environmental costs of production, as well as greater independence from other polluting and/or less environmentally friendly energy sources, such as thermal energy obtained from the consumption of gas or coal.
However, not only do we take care of our environmental impact, but we also encourage the use of raw materials that imply a reduced carbon footprint in their production compared to other more conventional ones. An example of this is alternative insect protein, which represents a reduction in the resources used for its production and provides great nutritional benefits such as protein and fiber.
Today, we continue to work tirelessly to make progress in creating innovative solutions for functional food and, at the same time, to take care of our planet.
